"On the occasion of World NGO Day, the Conference of INGOS will hold an interactive, hybrid webinar on 27 February, from 13.00 to 15.00 CET, online and in room Agora G04 of the Council of Europe. .
Intervenors will include representatives of All Together in Dignity - ATD Fourth World, International Federation of Social Workers (IFSW) Europe, Volonteurope, Youth, the Council of Europe, CINGO’s expert Council on NGO Law. As this year’s subject is "Moments of Impact", the webinar , will showcase the important role of civil society in humanitarian action, social work, the promotion of participatory democracy. It will also recall the challenges many NGOs are currently facing (see this récent study). A message from World NGO Day founder Marcis Skadmanis will open the event.
Participants will have the opportunity to interact and a special session will give them an opportunity to prioritise some key areas of future action for and by civil society in relation to the Council of Europe and CINGO.
This webinar will mark the kicking-off of a series of events in 2026 on the occasion of CINGO’s 50th Anniversary."
